This is an exciting position for recent graduates (undergraduate or graduate) interested in pursuing a career in non-profit leadership. The position provides the right person an opportunity to develop wide-ranging, highly transferable organizational and leadership skills, and is an excellent precursor for graduate school and/or higher-level positions in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors.
As a small, entrepreneurial agency, we are able to offer this unique opportunity to learn about and participate in all aspects of non-profit management, from project development and financial modeling, to marketing, grant writing, board relations, fiscal management and strategic planning. We are a close-knit team genuinely committed to the personal and professional growth of each and every team member. The person in this position participates in our strategic decision-making, is encouraged to develop skills in areas of his or her own special interest, and to make a genuine impact on our organization. As a member of our leadership team, this person has a window into and hands on experience in all facets of the Institute’s work. While we are currently located in a beautiful spot in Carlisle, MA, we will be relocating closer to Boston in the fall.
