“I Still Want Better Media” Conference at Ohio University

The E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and Campus Progress are hosting the second annual media reform conference. The conference begins on Friday night with a screening of the new documentary, A Soldier’s Peace, produced by Ohio University graduate student and Iraq War Veteran Marshall Thompson, who will take questions after the film. Saturday will feature numerous panels and breakout sessions. The keynote address will be given by Terry Anderson, former AP journalist held hostage in Beirut, Lebanon for six years. This conference is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served on Saturday.
